Titera’s Tidbit: Wasabi
As sushi lovers know, “wasabi” is a sinus-opening Japanese spice similar to mustard but much sharper. Strictly speaking, the term applies only to the root of a plant called Eutrema wasabi, for which demand has long outstripped supply, so that most restaurant “wasabi” is actually horseradish.
